This is an actual road sign in Austin, TX warning of zombies!
According to the local news story, hackers broke into the electronic road signs and changed the messages. Drivers on Lamar Blvd were warned of Nazi Zombies and advised to Run!!!.
We found it hilarious. There is nothing we love more than a zombie attack! Zombies have been tres popular in general lately. Zombie gamers have invaded several campuses lately, including U.T. Left 4 Dead is flying off shelves, and there have been a nice crop of recent zombie movies, including I Am Legend, Zombie Strippers, and of course, the ongoing Resident Evil saga.
Our favorite zombie flix? Mass release would have to be Shaun of the Dead (walk fast). All-time favorite has to be the adorable (and blood-thirsty) Ava Merriman in S.I.U.S. (Sudden Infant Undead Syndrome).
Trying to create your own Zombie look? Zombie masks are always a quick and easy option - and boy are they popular. For the more adventurous, go with some theatrical make-up, prosthetics and blood.
