It's a bird; It's a plane; Its SUPER-Obama

Obamamania seems to be unabated - now featuring Super-Obama!

Check out this new standee depicting President Obama as a caped super-hero.

In case the President's popularity starts to wane, we have back-up Obamas. Michelle Obama looks set to be the most popular First Lady since Jackie and the media can get enough of the Obama kids. Kudos to Mommy and Daddy, though. Doesn't look like they are encouraging Sasha and Melia merchandising.

Bunnies, Bunnies everywhere!

It's spring, and bunnies are popping up like. . .well, bunnies in spring.

As per usual, we are seeing the basic white Easter Bunny almost everywhere. This is your all-purpose white rabbit mascot costume - good for Easter photography visits with the Easter Bunny and almost any other promotional use you can think of around Easter. You'll find him outside stores, in malls, and overseeing any number of Easter Egg hunts.

With the recession, we are also seeing some cheaper versions with more than usual frequency. These range from the less expensive bunny mascots to a more conceptual approach. Least expensive-- some combination of rabbit features. This almost always includes bunny ears. Optional are bunny teeth, bunny tail, bunny nose. If you go with whiskers, will they be the full stick-on type? Or drawn on with make-up?

Of the mascots, my favorite bunnies are the ones you seldom see these days. The whimsical upper-end rabbit mascots, complete with clothing and extra detailing to lend each it's own special character. Sure, they're a little more expensive, but personality is well worth it IMHO.

Baby bunnies are cute, and it's hard to pick between the adorable toddler bunny costumes. Can you see a field of these hopping around on Easter morning? Got to be more comfortable than those stiff Easter dresses and suits most poor kids wind up in.

And--oopsies--which bunny were you googling? A few of these playful bunnies are NOT suitable for children's events! There might be more versions of sexy bunnies out there than the furry type.

Of course, when you've had a little TOO much Easter cheer, you've got to go for the one, the only Peter Rottentail. Don't we all need a little Peter Rottentail sometimes?

HAPPY EASTER!
